About Armstrong Atlantic State University

Armstrong Atlantic State University is a dynamic part of the University System of Georgia. Acclaimed for academic excellence since its founding in 1935, AASU offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education, College of Health Professions, School of Computing and the School of Graduate Studies. The university community includes 7,000 students and 290 full-time faculty. Cultural and recreational opportunities abound in the thriving port city of Savannah, and beaches are a pleasure year round.

The 268-acre campus includes an impressive mix of new and recently renovated academic buildings and residence communities. Academic facilities include state of the art computer and science labs, multimedia classrooms, writing and advisement centers, math tutorial labs, a greenhouse, and an Honors Program suite. In addition, there are three theaters for plays, musicals, and concerts and an art gallery. Sports facilities include lighted tennis courts, a baseball diamond, an indoor heated swimming pool, a sand volleyball court, several playing fields, an indoor running track, two basketball courts, and fully-equipped exercise and weight rooms.
